As of 01/07/2019, negative equity incurred on all trading accounts will be compensated by the company. This decision was made following an analysis of previous cases on our ECN accounts, which revealed that while the average level of negative equity is very low, it is likely to discourage clients from trading altogether. As such, it was concluded to be in the best interest of both the company and its clients to compensate any negative equity incurred by clients on their trading accounts.
Nevertheless, the company retains the right, at its own discretion, to hold clients liable for any negative equity incurred, in cases including, but not limited to, where any violation of the terms of service by the client is detected, or during abnormal market conditions. As such, we highly recommend trading with care, and ensuring that you have sufficient equity on your trading accounts to cover your open positions.
